By daylight, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste are ordinary teenagers. Most of all, they must learn to put their romantic feelings aside in order to perform their duty, unaware of each other's true identities.                                                                      　　The second season premiere is scheduled for a global launch around September–November 2017 in Europe, At a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, it was announced that the second season would have its North American release on Netflix in December 2017, with 13 episodes to be released. KidsClick will start airing season 2 of this show in the US starting 30 August 2018, marking the first time that Season 2 of this show airing on American over-the-air television. A third season is also in development. On 22 January 2018, Zag posted on Instagram that the crew was working on a fourth and fifth season. On 31 August premiered a new series with Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir which this time is in chibi style. On 5 September, 2018, Skydance Media has acquired the live-action film and live-action television rights.

剧情设置在现代巴黎，中法混血的玛丽内特·杜潘-程（玛丽内特·杜平-程）是一个普通的中学，性格有些犹疑羞怯，梦想成为时装设计师，暗恋同班的帅气男生阿德里安·阿格里斯特。当有坏人威胁巴黎时，玛丽内特化身正义勇敢的英雄瓢虫（瓢虫），搭爱调戏人的聊天Noir（黑猫），一起邪恶势力。但Marinette并不知道面具下的Chat Noir正是她一直不敢表白的男生Adrien，而Adrien也不知道自己的暗恋对象Ladybug是Marinette。该剧以现代巴黎为背景，讲述了一位名叫马里内特·杜潘·程 (Marinette Dupain-Cheng) 的初中女孩和她的同学兼暗恋对象阿德里安·阿格雷斯特 (Adrien Agreste) 的故事。当邪恶出现时，马里内特变成了名为瓢虫的超级英雄，而阿德里安则变成了黑猫/黑猫。尽管不知道彼此的真实身份，但两人还是联手保护巴黎，使其免受一个名叫鹰蛾 (Hawk Moth) 的恶棍的侵害，因为鹰蛾觊觎他们的力量。

海绵宝宝是一块穿着短裤衬衫打领带、暴牙大眼睛的黄色海绵，他生活在太平洋中央一片名为比基尼的海底之下。这里风和日丽，平静祥和，生活无忧无虑。海绵宝宝住在一个菠萝形状的房子里，与之为伴的是他的宠物小蜗（蜗牛）。开朗、纯真的海绵宝宝有许多好朋友，比如乐观单纯的派大星、性格古怪的章鱼哥、自私市侩的蟹老板还有力大无穷的松鼠珊蒂。平时他都在蟹老板的快餐店里打工，闲暇时就和好朋友们四处玩乐。这群性格各异的家伙们凑在一起，可真是闹出不少的笑话……
